Polls Routinely Show Arabs in 'Palestinian' Territories Are Most Supportive of Violence and Hamas

At the bottom of the page is a repost of No Obama, 99.9% of Muslims Are Not Peace Loving, from 2015, which includes polling of Muslim communities about their attitudes about Sharia and the use of violence to “defend Islam.”

Unsurprisingly, the data refutes Obama’s claims that ‘99.9% of Muslims are not violent and want peace and prosperity.’ It turns out that this statement is wildly inaccurate for Muslims in foreign lands and particularly for Arabs in the Palestinian territories.

Many countries had significant numbers of Muslims who deemed violence is sometimes justified to “defend Islam”. And most Muslims also want Sharia Law for themselves and/or their countries, pitting these people against Liberal Democracy and all western constitutional governments. 

Here are some Pew poll results from 2014 (or the latest that I could find).

The first graphic shows many countries where a surprising numbers agreeing with the use of violence; or agreeing substantially with the statement: “suicide bombings against civilian targets are justified in order to defend Islam from it’s enemies.”

In America and Europe, there is surprising support of suicide bombings from young Western Muslims.

Topping the list below, of those Muslims who believe that the use of Suicide Bombings, are Some/Often justified are: the Palestinian territories, Lebanon, Egypt, Turkey. Bangladesh and Tanzania, Nigeria and Senegal:

The second graphic shows views about Hamas, where Palestinian territories, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Israeli Arabs top the list of countries where Muslims have favorable views and/or support of Hamas:

Views on Sharia and Women’s Rights

The following graphics show that many Muslims abroad are very supportive of their brand of religious conservative law (Sharia) to govern their communities and their nations. This is a huge issue that puts these people at odds with all constitutional governments using constitutional law in their home or host countries:

No Obama, 99.9% of Muslims Are Not Peace Loving (post from 2015)

I've said that Obama is wrong about everything. Obama was recently flapping his lips saying that 99.9% of Muslims want peace and prosperity. Well, they may want peace and prosperity, but they often mean that they want it under Sharia Law! OK, I'm joking a bit. The President is wrong again if you believe survey results.

It's true that an overwhelming number of Muslims in the US mostly don't support violence "in defense of Islam from it's enemies" --whatever that means. Still 8% say yes or maybe. That's not 1% or 0.1% as the President insists. But overseas, it's an entirely different matter. There are substantial minorities in support of violence for Islamic causes.

Although Muslims in the US, in general, are overwhelming against violence, there is an alarming number of young Muslims (26%) in the US that believe violence is justified in defense of Islam. So it shouldn't be a complete surprise about Mohammad Abdulazeez, a young US Muslim, shot 4 military personnel in Chattanooga, Tennessee. I'm not hearing a defense of Islam from our Muslim-apologist-in-chief?? "Crickets...."
