Kunstler: The Odor Of Democrat Desperation
This comes at the instigation of Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson, who was formerly senior legal counsel to John Carlin head of the National Security Division of the Department of Justice, deeply implicated in the FISA court matters of 2016 under investigation by federal prosecutor John Durham. Mr. Atkinson cited a complaint by an unnamed whistleblower who claims to have heard from a source that the President offered a quid pro quo to Ukrainian President Zelensky for reopening the Burisma case. The “whistleblower” may be Mr. Atkinson himself.
Of course, gaffe-prone Joe Biden spilled the beans on video earlier this year, when he bragged about shaking down Ukraine’s then-president Petro Poroshenko over a billion-dollar loan guarantee unless he fired the prosecutor investigating Burisma, which he did. Is there any ambiguity here?
The coordination between the news media and the Deep State is impressively blatant in this new gambit, with former acting FBI director Andrew McCabe (dismissed for cause in 2018), in his new position as a CNN “contributor” (while awaiting prosecution) teeing up a new “Trump collusion” narrative with The New York Times, WashPost, and NBC marching in step. In this new age of disinformation, narratives are the political weapon of choice in the campaign to harass and disable the winner of the 2016 election. The big play of RussiaGate failed, the play of “racism” is failing, so UkraineGate is next up.
It’s also obviously an effort to reenergize the impeachment operation in congress, badly botched so far by Jerold Nadler’s House Judiciary Committee. But it’s hard to imagine a better entertainment than an impeachment of Donald Trump in congress. Unless the Deep State wants to throw former President Obama under the bus, along with dozens of his associates (including Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Biden), they might be advised to call off that circus. A trial in the Senate, where the GOP runs the proceedings, would be an even better table-turner than the rousing climax of Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
I have a new theory about where the 2020 election is heading: if the Democratic Party candidate happens to lose, the party’s lawyers will unleash a blizzard of litigation in every voting district where the outcome was a couple of thousand ballots against them. It will be the 2000 “hanging chad” fracas on steroids and they will go so far as render the election inconclusive, therefore provoking the most parlous constitutional crisis since the start of the Civil War. In other words, they will dare to disable the republic.
Something or somebody will have to put a stop to these seditious turpitudes. The machinery of the law must be turned on the “resistance” and its operatives in the Deep State. Mr. Barr has the opportunity to do that. A globe of silence has enclosed his doings for many months. Impatient observers jump to the conclusion that the silence means he is doing nothing. I am not so sure of that. Given the purposeful hysteria ginned up so dishonestly in the press — and so injuriously to the actual public interest — don’t you suppose he would want to avoid tossing dynamite into that dumpster fire? By the same token, those actively stoking the dumpster fire are revealing their utter desperation. The unexpected consequence will be the suicide of the Democratic Party. But then people don’t necessarily get what they expect, they get what they deserve.

Hong Kong Local Explains What is Happening There
HK now is a classic example of the ever increasing power of the oligarchy (mostly property tycoons) and the ever increasing power of the State (or perhaps forceful state as its slowly morphing into) colluding for today at the expense of tomorrow.
The oligarchy – top local tycoons and legislators – were called to a meeting in Shenzhen – where they were pressed upon by the communist party to distance themselves from, and indeed condemn, the protests. This was on news sites…so they’re not even pretending there……
In truth, the extradition bill is just the last straw in a 20+ year of corrosion of the laws and autonomy that enabled Hong Kong to advance into a world class post-industrial connected economy.

Kamala's Medicare For All: the March to Government Tyranny
What Kamala, Bernie and the rest of the shit-for-brain Democrats really want when they say Medicare for All, is that they want to make our medical system into the troubled VA System-for-all.
You see, the VA is truly socialized medicine in this country, meaning the government owns and operates these hospitals and all of the doctors, nurses and staff are government employees. And as with Socialized 'anything,' veterans are forced to use these facilities whether they like it or not.
Secret Waiting Lists and Higher Infection Rates Killing Veterans
But shit-for-brain Democrats are counting on you to forget all the horror stories of secret VA death panels causing loss of life in many of those facilities. Whistleblowers revealed in 2014 that some 9 Veterans Administration hospitals have 'secret' waiting lists that have resulted in some 167 deaths that we know of so far. And that's in addition to the deaths caused by higher rates of infection due unsanitary conditions and poor maintenance due to poor management. (Imagine that, poor management in a government-run program! Who would have thunk it?) But this is what happens when the government tries to run a healthcare business (or anything else).
Massive and Inflating Costs With Declining Quality of Care
Then are the outrageous and out-of-control costs. More and more money is being spent per patient, so lack of money is not the problem. A USA Today article detailed how VA hospital costs are exploding relative to the private sector and Medicare. The article also shows that it's not the cost of treatment of Afghanistan or Iraq war veterans either -- their treatment is cheaper. Those vets represent only 7% of the patients and only 4% of the cost. Also, the number of veterans has been decreasing for over a decade too.
It should be crystal clear that the result of socialized medicine is substandard (or even deadly) care and poor cost performance. And it's the same chronic financial and performance failures that you see from any government program, ie., the US Post Office, Amtrak, the Dept of Defense, etc., etc.
Then Come the Denials From "Officials"
But this is just the beginning. After the death panels and deadly delayed treatment scandal erupts, then, characteristically, come the denials from the Obama administration. Obama exclaimed "We read it in the newspaper!" But there is an email trail that proves that Biden/Obama did know about this since their transition in 2008. This country spends $160 billion per year on veteran's health care but we find out that they are killing our veterans due to delays in treatment.
Then Massive Retaliation Against Whistleblowers
Then comes the hammer down on any whistleblower or patient who exposes fraud or malfeasance. The weight and unlimited resources of the government then tries to strike down the whistleblowers despite their so-called "protection." The Government simply cannot be trusted:

To pay for Medicare for all, taxes must rise to punitive levels. This leads to even more fraud, waste and chicanery at the government, but leaves the population unable to save for retirement. This is happening all over Europe and even Canada. It renders the population completely dependent on the government for not only substandard and more deadly medical treatment but also it leads to the population utterly dependent on the government for retirement benefits (if they are available at all!)
Let's recap: 1) Government-run medicine is a cost disaster, 2) Government-run medicine is a disaster of corruption, higher death rates due to poor management, uncleanliness and "waiting lists" and/or "death panels," 3) If you complain, you're hounded or persecuted by the bureaucracy. The bureaucrats never get fired, and 4) YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! Furthermore, 5) much higher and ever-increasing taxes to pay for this crap will leave most people unable to save for retirement. Then most people will be completely dependent on the government for medical care AND retirement money (IF it's available at all!).
The end result is complete and a lifetime of dependence on the government from cradle to grave with no way out! And if you don't like it, you might be committed to a psychiatric ward. Remember in totalitarian systems, if you don't love their wonderful system, you must be crazy!

The West's Economic and Cultural Suicide
Much of individual's frustration with our country is due to the fact that there are not enough jobs with adequate pay, too few opportunities, and inflation is raging while there is too little money. There is literally no hope because no politician even admits to any problem! If they can't admit that there is a problem, there certainly will be no solution. Janet Yellen and Jay Powell keep saying that everything is rosy while they keep calling for even more (destructive) inflation! Obama crowed for years that the economy is wonderful. So did Ben Bernanke. Trump says this is the best economy ever. Who wouldn't forgive people feeling frustrated?
The economy is so bad, who would blame a young person to call for Socialism as an alternative?
Every statistic from the government is a lie. Unemployment is advertised as lowest in decades ('technically' true but basically bullshit). Inflation is raging in the most important areas: healthcare, rent, housing, tuition, food. Voters are told by presidential candidates that the government will create jobs (nonsense).
This generation, and any future generation, can't afford college now thanks to the still-unchecked Govt loan bubble inflating books and tuition to the moon. This and the next generation can't afford a house since the Federal Reserve has inflated them beyond their reach. Good luck getting an affordable apartment since rent has doubled or tripled in most of our country since 2008. Healthcare is so expensive that no one can afford it. No one can afford even a modest medical procedure without being bankrupted, leading to a situation where few can pay their medical bills -- all thanks to the Govt-sponsored medical/pharma cartels and the dominance of Govt spending in medicine. Families of four, not covered by employers, face $31,000 per year in healthcare costs if anything goes wrong ($24K for insurance if nothing goes wrong). The national debt is going exponential --- all on the backs of our children and their children. The next generation is completely screwed. And for what? For a lousy 2% GDP "growth" during the last 10 years?? The truth is that inflation is understated and "growth" inflated by debt-fueled spending. We've actually been in an economic contraction since 2008 and no one is being honest about that.
Our war on poverty has failed, our war on drugs has failed, the country hasn't outright won a war since WWII, the government caused two financial crashes in the past 15 years and another is about to burst. Each time the economy gets even worse. It's all because of the US govt. And no one learns a thing. The entire government colossus should be burnt down. It's time for a new American Revolution, really a massive reset, to do it.
"Government" is causing everything to fail. Everything "government" touches turns to shit and Government is touching everything!
Government at all levels (and low median IQ) have caused a near total cultural collapse of the black population in this country. And they are near revolt. Black poverty is higher than ever thanks in part to government destruction of black families (thanks to the Great Society War on Poverty). "Government" has caused ruin to the lives of Blacks just like they ruined the lives of the Native Americans. Multi-generational welfare rot, ruined public housing, utterly dysfunctional unionized schools, massive ignorance and drug and alcohol addiction is rampant. Now about 10% of all black men are in prison. Even black high school graduation rates are exaggerated because no one is counting the large number of young black kids in jail.
The rest of the population is not doing well either thanks to the de-industrialization of our country by 30+ years of Globalist politicians. There is literally no hope left in large parts of the country. To wit, opium addiction and overdose is suddenly now killing 50,000 people per year. And alarmingly, life expectancy is declining in this country. The US is NOT the shining city on the hill anymore. There is no hope out there.

Not one person or candidate is demanding that the Federal bureaucracy be dismantled and quickly. Is everyone blind? And we wonder why some unstable, hopeless individuals grab their gun and shoot-up the place to inflict as much pain as they can?
Our entire heritage of western civilization is under attack by Leftism (Socialism) and Islam. Traditional religious denominations are failing and ignored. Christianity is dying in Europe and elsewhere and Christians and Christianity are once again being slaughtered into oblivion in the Middle East by Muslims while the West and the Catholic Church just passively look on. The leader of Catholic Church, Pope Francis, who is steeped (brainwashed) in all the failed socialist ideas prevalent in Latin America and who hasn't learned a thing, is a utter fool.
The State and The Left have chased God out of schools, universities and our society, leaving only fools in charge. Where there is no God, there are only fools. Foolish is an apt description of Western culture now.
Our county's huge success is ultimately based firmly on the Christian (and Jewish) religions, civilizations and cultures as recorded in the Bible, and later adopted and incorporated into Roman and European cultures. More recently, we enjoy a 1000 year history of Anglo ideas and philosophies, dating from Pre-Norman times to the Magna Carta and beyond, that ultimately culminated in the exceptional US Constitution and culture. These outstanding ideas, based ultimately in, and combined with, the work ethic and Judeo-Christian ethics of mostly white European immigrants to the US, led to the most successful and vibrant political, economic and social "experiment" ever seen in world history: the USA (and descendants of white Europeans including Canada, Australia, New Zealand).
All that we have is primarily the result of White, mostly English-speaking, Northern European accomplishments with solid roots in Christianity. If you read about the phony memes of our day, all of this is being rejected--most often by minorities. Un-anchored by tradition and knowledge, we're inundated by falsehoods. No, we're not all the same. No, not all religions are the same. And no, not all races are equal. The White race has been in fact superior in nearly every way. You will be booted off of Facebook, Twitter or any college campus for uttering any of those words since the speech-oppressive culture described in Orwell's 1984 book has asserted itself, (especially in Europe).
Many people, sitting in lovely houses and sitting in comfortable luxury, have rejected organized religion or Christianity---including so-called Atheists. They might say that they are more "spiritual" rather than a Christian. Not only are young people open to new economic systems, but also rejecting our own religious heritage.
The simple truth is that Christianity is dying especially in the West, where faith in man and his institutions (government) are offered as a substitute for Christianity. Socialism has tried to usurp faith community's role in charity by substituting faceless and impersonal institutional redistribution, leaving less need for the more personal faith community. Communist governments have sought to eliminate and outlaw religious faith entirely and substitute "man" instead of God. The State has gotten into the education "business" too where higher learning began in mostly Protestant and Catholic Universities (see a list here for just the US). While Christianity is essentially dead in Europe, killed by the State, Islam is allowed to flood into Europe. These Muslims, in comparison to Christians, are extremely confident, even arrogant and supremacist, in their views. They bring their own culture, their own legal system and are determined to overpopulate and dominate any area that they occupy. They don't integrate into their host cultures and they aren't working because these people are incompetent, low to no skill, and have nothing to offer! And they are fighting and murdering 100s of thousands per decade in wars against Kaffirs (any other faith) in dozens of countries. In sum, government and Islam seem determined to wipe out Christianity and Christians once again.

The mayor and the police were totally unprepared to deal with the violence that ensued. Tragically, a young woman, Heather Heyer, was run over and killed by a neo-Nazi.
The press conference itself was raucous. The media was antagonistic. The president was combative. Out of it all, one phrase eclipsed the thousands of words exchanged: The media reported that President Trump described neo-Nazis as “very fine people.” Only, he didn’t. In fact, he didn’t even hint at it. Just the opposite: he condemned the neoNazis in no uncertain terms.
So then, who were the “fine people” he mentioned? The answer: He was referring to another group of Charlottesville demonstrators who came out that weekend—protestors who wanted the Robert E. Lee statue removed and protestors who wanted to keep the statue and restore the park’s original name. This is what President Trump said about those peaceful protestors: “You also had some very fine people on both sides. . . . You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down of—to them—a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.” A few moments later, in case there would be any misunderstanding, he makes his meaning even more explicit. “…I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists. They should be condemned totally.”
Lest you have any doubts that good people were in Charlottesville to protest the removal of the Robert E Lee statue, the New York Times confirmed it in a story they published the next day, August 16. “’Good people can go to Charlottesville,’ said Michelle Piercy, a night shift worker at a Wichita, Kansas retirement home, who drove all night with a conservative group that opposed the planned removal of a statue of the Confederate general Robert E. Lee. After listening to Mr. Trump on Tuesday, she said it was as if he had channeled her and her friends… who had no interest in standing with Nazis or white supremacists…”
There’s another simple test that we can employ to prove that the president was not referring to the neo-Nazis as “fine people.” It’s so obvious, it’s painful to mention: The president’s daughter and son-in-law are Orthodox Jews. His grandchildren are Jewish. And if that is still not enough to convince you, how about this: Does anyone believe that Donald Trump thinks there are “good” Antifa, the leftist thugs who were counter-protesting the neo-Nazi thugs? After all, if those two groups were the only ones involved, and there were “fine people on both sides,” that means the president believed that there were fine Antifa people. Even MSNBC should have found that hard to swallow.
Again, the “very fine people on both sides” President Trump described at the press conference were the people who wanted to remove the Robert E. Lee statue and the people who wanted to keep it. Both of these groups were non-violent protesters—fine people with very different ideological views.

..and White People Ended the Scourge of Slavery Too
The descent into insanity continues to be led by absurd and ignorant Democrats. Leftists don’t only label the half of the country that supports the president “racist,” they label all whites and America itself “racist.” If your son or daughter attends or recently attended an American university, it is close to certain he or she was repeatedly told that America and all whites are racist.
Calling every person of a certain color as racist is, in fact, racist! Is it reverse racism or something?? Of course it is.
What no one mentions is that the worst racists in this country are black people! Ninety percent of black people would agree with the statement "white people are holding me back in my life." They believe that because the Democratic party has taught them to believe that. Meanwhile, they ignore results of all of the standardized academic tests taken by everybody during junior and senior high school showing that, on average, black people rate extremely low/poor in cognitive ability and academic achievement compared to white kids. Of course those well-proven standardized tests must be racist too, right?
The fact is that white people descended from European, Anglo-Saxon, Christian areas are the most successful people in the world, despite having median IQs slightly less (about a median of 100) than certain East Asian countries.
Despite that, White people literally invented, developed and produced every aspect of modern life: the cell phone, television, the automobile, nuclear power, the airplane and commercial jet travel, the internet, manned space travel to the moon, every advance in astrophysics chemistry, physics, architecture, every vaccine, the Hubble telescope, the space shuttle that serviced the Hubble telescope, every aspect of mathematics, the Hadron collider to name a few. White people, mostly Christian, English-speaking people, also invented political, personal and economic freedom, religious freedom, rule of law, guaranteed rights and personal liberty that are now uniquely enshrined in our law. The US and the US Constitution is the envy of the world.
Not only did White people invent every aspect of modern life, but White people also ended the 5000 year old scourge of world-wide slavery. Debates in the western capitals of Philadelphia, Paris and London in the 1780s resulted in banning of slavery in states and colonies. Yes, that's right. The US founding fathers, some who owned slaves, worked to end slavery in this country. They had to compromise with Southern Democratic states on the issue to ratify the US Constitution, but a 20 year grace period kicked-off on the elimination of slavery in all Northern States in 1789. In the late 1850s, the Republican Party, the party of Lincoln, was created to finally eliminate all slavery and fought the Civil War to end it. After the Civil War, freed US slaves were free to vote, hold office and enjoy equal rights for about 15 years as Northern troops remained in the South to enforce these rights.

What's the Current Situation in Argentina?
Peronist populism survives in the Argentinean political field like an infection, a spreading rot that never quite goes away. You see, although 2001 was the time in which the country collapsed, socially, economically and politically, what came after that was far worse. The leftist Kirchner scum that took over was a complete nightmare straight out of the 70’s.
Unfortunately you don’t fix 60 years of Peronism with four years of President Mauricio Macri (the current president). The poverty, the corruption, the disastrous economy and weak industry, the collapsed infrastructure and education, its endemic and wont change overnight.
They reinvented themselves as romantic revolutionary socialists. The truth though is quite different.
Nestor and Cristina Kirchner, they started with a law firm (Clintons anyone?). They worked for banks and financial groups which filed foreclosures, since the Central Bank's 1050 ruling had raised mortgage loan interest rates. Through political contacts and bribes, they also acquired 21 real-estate lots for a low price when they were about to be auctioned. Their law firm defended military personnel accused of committing human right crimes during the “Dirty War”.
But being the clever criminals they were, they understood the power of the left, the socialist and social justice speech they saw in their youth.
All of a sudden they reinvented themselves not as a greedy, shady law firm turned politicians, kicking poor people out of their homes and defending military personnel accused of torturing civilians. Now, according to them, they were practically Che Guevara with a rifle in their hands fighting the imperialist Americans.
As laughable as that sounds for the people that knew them for what they were, it sounded good to others and people ate that up. You had the real commies from back in the day, beaten like street dogs all of a sudden being vindicated. Support from “Madres de Plaza de Mayo” gave them international legitimacy, siding with the mothers of those killed during the Junta. (Of course we wont talk about those that faked their deaths only to later be found alive in Spain, or those that had been killed in gunfights with the police, or the ones that died while planting bombs to kill innocent civilians.) They were all freedom fighting heroes now, all of them. And all the police, the armed forces, they were all nazi pig dictators.
That’s what an entire generation was brought up to believe. The mugger, the criminal robbing at gunpoint, he’s a poor victim of the evil American capitalist system. The politician that steals millions? He’s stealing for the crown, for comrade Cristina and comrade Nestor, and they need money to fight the evil capitalists.
This madness, I kid you not, is very real. And it only got worse year after year with increasing indoctrination in schools, TV and other media, even cartoons for kids had this message. The damage was very real and it doesn’t just go away because the dictators finally leave.The key was to manipulate and indoctrinate children, their education at schools thru an agenda at Universities. That’s where it’s at, and these scumbags knew that.
After 12 years of constant indoctrination the damage is generational. You have an entire generation of young adults that today believe Cristina Kirchner is a savior. There’s some older fools that believe Peron was their savior too.
Of course, you also have hundreds of thousands government "workers" that got used to stealing through the government. Getting paid for doing nothing. You have generations of poor welfare soldiers that make a living out of going to protest and marches and shouting “Cristina! Cristina!” or insulting the current President, Mauricio Macri. And of course there are thousands of millionaire politicians. Drugs, bribes, police corruption, anything goes. Even a lousy local small time politician can make a fortune.
As things stand today, nearly half the country would STILL vote for Cristina Kirchner. There’s no hope for people that are either that corrupt or that stupid.
Finally voting for President Mauricio Macri, that was a big first step. But now he needs to be re-elected. After him, another honest politician needs to become president. Maybe Maria Eugenia Vidal. If that happens and that woman gets re-elected, then maybe Argentina can actually become a 1stworld country like its supposed to be.
But as things stand today, Cristina Kirchner could be president again this year. If that happens, Argentina will be taking giant leaps backwards. Democrat's Monotonous Song: More and More Government
Despite massive evidence that Big Government is the source of all of our societies ills and problems, Democrats sing the same old tired song of more and more government. Never mind that the failures of big government are all around us: we're drowning in the failures of big government! Democrats without government are like fish flapping out of water and struggling for air. It's all they've got.
They are desperate busy-bodies who arrogantly believe that they know what's best for you--even though they are the dumbest people on earth. They are wrong and fake about everything. But they want power to impose their views on everyone else; whether you like it or not --and they will impose their will on you by tricks and lies if necessary (for your own "good" of course). And the Constitution is just something "in the way." They are not trustworthy as they will lie as necessary to get power to extort your money for the wrong ideas that THEY believe. The thought of AOC holding a position of power should scare every American. These people should be nowhere near the levers of power. And the only permanent remedy for this possibility is to return to small government--so the damage they can do is limited.
Few of these people could find a good and honest occupation in the private sector. Did Obama ever hold a job for long or have a career? Few people would tolerate such an arrogant prick. People like Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker are very stupid, dishonest and incompetent people who could not prosper in the private sector. This is true for most black politicians who hold mayoral or other government positions. They need government as welfare for themselves.They need to be needed. It's a sickness. Today's Democrats are people of the lie: people with personal psychological and spiritual failings who are unable to see or change. They naturally think everyone else is as dumb and ignorant as them, so you need someone to run your life.
People like Obama were indoctrinated into Marxism in Kenya. It's all he knows. The stunning collapse of formerly prosperous South Africa, thanks to Marxism (ANC), is well underway. After a few short years, they can't even keep the electricity on (Venezuela anyone?). They are persecuting, even murdering white farmers and seizing their land without compensation. This was tried not long ago in Zimbabwe and it led to starvation and hyperinflation. The same is coming to S. Africa. Democrat and especially Black Democrat brains don't work correctly or at all.
Democrats never have understood why America became the greatest nation on earth: Freedom. Democrat's also don't acknowledge the other reason why America became the biggest and most prosperous country on earth: we were a nation of WHITE, CHRISTIAN and EUROPEAN immigrants. We overwhelmingly originate from Anglo-Saxon regions and peoples who had a very high median intelligence (greater than any other world population group except certain East Asian nations), have the ethical and moral groundings of the Judeo-Christian traditions and an extremely high work ethic.
Of course Democrat's had to change all that. Since the Democrat's immigration act of 1965, the US went from 84% white in 1964 to as low as 58% today. Now we're already resembling Argentina or Venezuela, especially in the all-black ghettos of Baltimore, St.Louis, Memphis, New Orleans or any other black/brown majority Democratic city. Less sophisticated and less intelligent people fail to see the phoniness and dangers of politicians bearing gifts, just like we see in ALL brown and black nations. Simply said, a majority black/brown America is the end of the great, prosperous and free America. Every Democrat is for the disastrous "open borders"policy because brown and black people are easier to trick and fall for the false siren of "free stuff." Only the Anglo-Saxons had the self-organizing motivation to take care of themselves and their people. Lower IQ populations don't have this and pray for someone to manage their lives. Their prayers are answered ultimately with nightmares. And all this is because of the perverted drive for power by people who themselves have so little to offer.
Our goal should be selective immigration, controlled borders and visa control like every other country. We need to repeal the 1965 Immigration Act and revert to immigration mainly of those of European descent. However, we need the best of the best from any country. We need to jail and, in cases, execute Treasonous Deep State persons who are involved in the attempted coup of DJT. Dozens of Traitors need to be executed or hung, preferably in public. Then we need a President who understands the need to radically reduce the size of the Federal Government by 50 to 60% or more. So many departments can be eliminated. Fake America: AOC Caught Faking Anguish at Border
Many have accused the Congresswoman and her supporters of staging a photo-op after the images, taken during a 2018 event outside a migrant “tent city” in Tornillo, Texas, went viral earlier this week.
The photos show an emotional AOC holding her face and appearing to cry. Her attention appears to be directed towards whatever is on the other side of the fence.
However, a photo from a different angle shows there is nothing there aside from an empty parking lot and some police officers.
Another image shows a photographer being careful to capture AOC’s reaction as she gets emotional over what appears to be little other than a vehicle and a tree.
As we previously reported, Ocasio-Cortez attended to star-studded “protest” wearing a pristine white outfit, bright red lipstick and a $600 dollar watch.
This prompted many of her critics to accuse the Congresswoman and her supporters of staging the photos, arguing that the images did not show a spontaneous, authentic reaction.

Proof That Socialism Sucks
Government, especially when you include the supposedly independent Federal Reserve, is the source of all of our big problems. Our leviathan State is failing at everything and is slowly bankrupting this country. Nothing is working. Despite overwhelming evidence of massive failure, both political parties support and permit even more "government!" Bigger government is the central platform of the Democratic Party (and the unstated central platform of the Republican party)! Our "social contract" with the government is broken.
We now live in a heavy-handed surveillance state with weaponized police departments and Federal agencies. Everything coming from the government is wrong or outright lies including:
For example, look at the chart below. Note that prices of everything that is manipulated by "government" (red) is rising un-sustainably. Also note that prices subject to true market forces (blue) have been coming down.
The greater (lower) the degree of government involvement in the provision of a good or service the greater (lower) the price increases (decreases) over time, e.g., hospital and medical costs, college tuition, childcare with both large degrees of government funding/regulation and large price increases vs. software, electronics, toys, cars and clothing with both relatively less government funding/regulation and falling prices.
Conclusion: remind me why socialism is so great again? And when everything falls apart and truly fails, The Left will assert, as it always does, that Big Govt is NOT the problem, it was just that we didn't have the right people in charge. Those that never learn are, unintentionally or not, evil.

Conrad Black: Our Greatest Constitutional Crisis Since the Civil War
The most immense and dangerous public scandal in American history is finally cracking open like a ripe pomegranate. The broad swath of the Trump-hating media that has participated in what has amounted to an unconstitutional attempt to overthrow the government are reduced to reporting the events and revelations of the scandal in which they have been complicit, in a po-faced ho-hum manner to impart to the misinformed public that this is as routine as stock market fluctuations or the burning of an American flag in Tehran.
For more than two years, the United States and the world have had two competing narratives: that an elected president of the United States was a Russian agent whom the Kremlin helped elect; and its rival narrative that senior officials of the Justice Department, FBI, CIA, and other national intelligence organizations had repeatedly lied under oath, misinformed federal officials, and meddled in partisan political matters illegally and unconstitutionally and had effectively tried to influence the outcome of a presidential election, and then undo its result by falsely propagating the first narrative. It is now obvious and indisputable that the second narrative is the correct one.
The authors, accomplices, and dupes of this attempted overthrow of constitutional government are now well along in reciting their misconduct without embarrassment or remorse because—in fired FBI Director James Comey’s formulation—a “higher duty” than the oath they swore to uphold the Constitution compelled them. Or—in fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s words—“the threat” was too great. Nevermind that the nature of “the threat” was that the people might elect someone he and Comey disapproved of as president, and that that person might actually serve his term, as elected.
A Long List of Offenders—and Offenses
The extent of the criminal misconduct of the former law enforcement and intelligence chiefs is now notorious, but to make the right point here, it has to be summarized. The fact that the officially preferred candidate lied to federal officials about her emails and acted in outright contempt of Congress and the legal process in the destruction of evidence, was simply ignored by the FBI director, who announced that she would not be prosecuted, though he had no authority to make that determination.
The dossier of salacious gossip and defamatory falsehoods amassed by a retired British spy from the lowest grade of intelligence sources in Russia, commissioned and paid for by the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee, was circulated to the media by high public officials and cited in illegal and dishonest applications to authorize surveillance of the campaign of the other presidential candidate. A special counsel was empowered on the false pretext of the necessity to get to the bottom of Trump-Russian collusion in the election, of which there was and remains no evidence, because it did not occur and was a complete partisan fabrication.
The special counsel then packed his staff with militant Clinton partisans, and acted very late and only when his hand was forced by the media to remove two officials who referred in texts to each other to the Bureau’s ability to smear and provoke the impeachment of the winning candidate as “an insurance policy” against his filling the office to which he was elected.
Large sections of the media colluded with the Democratic campaign and produced the doctrine that anything was justifiable, no matter how dishonest, to destroy the incoming president’s reputation and damage him in public opinion polls to legitimize attempts to remove him from office. Large sections of the media deliberately deluged the public with stories they knew to be false about the new president and referred to him in terms of unprecedented vituperation in what purported to be reportage and not comment.
This unorganized but widespread campaign of defamation was taken up by a great number of ordinarily newsworthy celebrities and was accompanied by false, unresearched stories denigrating President Trump’s supporters, such as the false claims about Catholic school students’ treatment of an elderly native American and the false claim that actor Jussie Smollett had been beaten up and reviled by Trump supporters. The former intelligence chiefs of the nation under President Obama repeatedly have accused this president of treason, the most heinous of all crimes, and have asserted with the authority of their former positions that the Russians determined the result of the 2016 presidential election. They knew this to be entirely false.
Distracting Public Attention
The special counsel has failed to find any evidence of the collusion and electoral interference that was the justification for establishing his inquiry, and the Democrats are already expressing disappointment in his failure to produce such evidence when the leading Democratic members of congressional investigative committees still robotically claim to have at least prima facie evidence of such collusion.
The dishonest attempt of much of the opposition and what even left-leaning media-monitoring organizations record as 90 percent of the national media, continued for more than two years to try to condition the country to believe that the president had committed the “high crimes and misdemeanors” required by the Constitution for impeachment and removal from office.
The special counsel, apart from smearing the president, distracted public attention from or tended to justify the ever more evident misconduct of the president’s enemies. And we now know that Comey, despite his “higher duty,” lied to the president about his not being a target of an FBI investigation, illegally leaked to the New York Times the contents of a self-serving memo he purloined from the government, and lied to Congress by claiming 245 times in one sitting to be ignorant of recent matters that no one of sound mind could have forgotten.
And now we have Andrew McCabe’s proud confirmation that he and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein not only continued the illegal counterintelligence investigation of President Trump, but actively discussed methods of securing his removal from office by deliberate misuse of a variety of laws, including the Emoluments Clause, the 25th Amendment to deal with mental incompetence, and the Logan Act of 1799, which has never been used successfully and has not been tested in 150 years.
Make Those Responsible Pay at the Polls
This entire monstrous travesty is finally coming apart without even waiting for the horrible disappointment of the special counsel’s inability to adduce a scrap of evidence to justify his replication of Torquemada as an inquisitor and of the Gestapo and KGB at rounding up and accusing unarmed individuals who were not flight risks. The collapse of this grotesque putsch, under the irresistible pressure of a functioning attorney general and Senate committees that are not hamstrung by NeverTrumpers, will cause a revulsion against the Democratic Party that will be seismic and prolonged.

The disgrace of their misconduct is profound and shocking. Richard Nixon, against whom there is no conclusive evidence that he broke any laws (although a number of people in his entourage did) never did anything like this. J. Edgar Hoover in 47 years at the head of the FBI and its predecessor organization, never tried to meddle in a presidential election. Those responsible will pay for this, including at the polls.
