Rogan: "Lunatics Are Running the Asylum at Big Tech Companies"

From the NY Post:

Joe Rogan took aim at woke “activist” employees of large Silicon Valley tech firms, calling them “mentally ill” and “lunatics who are running the asylum to a certain extent.”

Joe Rogan slammed “activist” employees of large Silicon Valley tech firms as “mentally ill” on Wednesday
Rogan made the comments on his Spotify podcast during an interview Wednesday with Antonio García Martínez, an ex-engineer at Apple and Facebook who parted ways with the iPhone maker after employees complained of “misogynistic” writings in his book.

During the segment, Rogan asked Martínez what it was like to work for a large tech firm.  “For someone from the outside, we look at it and say: ‘How are those f–king places run?'” Rogan said.

The stand-up comedian then said he had a conversation with a “good friend” who was in a management position at Google before leaving the firm for another “large tech company.”

“The way she described it to me was, ‘It is utter madness,'” Rogan said.

Rogan made the comment while interviewing Antonio Garcia Martinez, a former Apple engineer who left after employees petitioned management over allegedly misogynistic writings in his book.

Martinez said the “The lunatics are running the asylum to a certain extent because there’s a lot of people working inside the company now that legitimately are mentally ill and they consider themselves activists,” according to Rogan.

He added that tech bosses at these companies “have to placate” the workers “because they’re a certain percentage of the population that works for the company, and they’re the loudest, and they oftentimes don’t get work done.”

Rogan said that when these workers are “confronted” over not getting work done, “they talk about their activism.”   He said his friend was forced to reprimand tech workers by telling them: “You are here for X amount of hours per day. This is your f—–g job. You’re not an activist.”

Martínez told Rogan that the companies are partly to blame because workers are encouraged by human resources departments to “bring the real self to work.”

He described big tech firms like Facebook as “kind of like a cult” since employees are brought to a “campus lifestyle” where “they do your laundry for you” and “feed you.”

“Facebook was a cult, and I joined it, and I was a happy member of it,” Martínez said. “It was very powerful. Everyone sacrificed themselves for the sake of the empire and its emperor.”

Rogan has been a frequent critic of tech firms for censoring and de-platforming those with viewpoints deemed outside the mainstream.

[So yeah, Ron Paul was right when he called the "fact checkers" at Big Tech firms "snot nose kids."]

PCR: Washington Is Driving the World to Nuclear War

From Paul Craig Roberts at Paulcraigroberts.org:

Since the Russian action in Ukraine began, provoked by Washington’s cold shoulder to Russian security concerns, Washington, in addition to doing all possible to keep the conflict going, has also dumped three more provocations on the Kremlin:  an attempted coup or “color revolution” in the former Russian province of Kazakhstan, NATO military maneuvers currently under way in the former Russian province of Georgia which is not a NATO member, and NATO maneuvers in Poland on the Border of Belarus, a former Russian province and current Russian ally.  https://avia-pro.net/news/bronetehnika-nato-zamechena-v-3-kilometrah-ot-granicy-s-belorussiey

The signal Washington consistently sends to the Kremlin is aggression. Why has no member of any government in the Western world, no presstitute in the Western media pointed this out? It is difficult to fathom the irresponsibility of Washington adding to the Ukraine provocation three more provocations simultaneously.  Why provoke a country already concerned with its security with more security concerns unless you are trying to widen the war?

The US Treasury is working with Congress to prevent Russia’s use of her gold reserves that she kept in her own hands, with the bulk of Russian reserves having been seized, a theft made easy by the stupid fool that Putin keeps as head of the Russian central bank.  It is extraordinary that the Russian central bank kept Russia’s reserves in Western hands while Russia intervened militarily in Ukraine. The Russian central bank must have wanted Russia to lose her reserves.

Now the remaining reserves are to be targeted by Washington in this way. Sanctions will be applied to every country that permits or facilitates Russian payments in gold or the buying and selling of gold by Russia.  This, the US senator, Angus King, said, will collapse the Russian economy, leaving Russia no means of payment.

Senator King and the US Treasury are overlooking that all acts of war are not military, and what the senator is sponsoring is an act of war.  Putin recognizes it as such.  He declared it to be “a total undisguised aggression” and “a war waged by economic, political, and informational means.”

So what is Russia doing in response to the declared intent of the West to destroy her?  She is enabling her own destruction.  She distributes her foreign exchange reserves among Western banks where they can be seized.  She keeps the economies of her enemies alive by continuing to supply them with energy and minerals–all because her moronic central bank thinks Russia needs foreign exchange, which will be seized regardless.  She continues with a go-slow war that gives her enemies more time to demonize Russia and create permanent hatred of Russia in the Western populations, that gives Western idiots more time to blunder into a wider war, such as the Western plan to deploy NATO peacekeepers in Ukraine.  In short, the Kremlin’s response to the sanctions is mindless.  Here for example is Germany’s own assessment of the impact on Germany if Russia stops sustaining Germany’s existence with Russian energy: “A 2018 stress test run by the German civil defense agency, the BBK, found that all crucial services will be impacted by a gas supply shortage. The two-day crisis management exercise Lukex 18, which involved several states in southern Germany, found that the shortage of gas supply will have ‘a drastic effect on public life,’ including the closure of public and private facilities. The disruption of supply will also lead to ‘far-reaching, difficult-to-predict consequences for the service sector and the production of goods,’ according to the BBK.”

If Russia turned off the energy, Germany would force an end to the sanctions on Russia or Germany would leave NATO despite Germany’s occupation by US troops.  But apparently the Kremlin would rather risk Russia’s destruction than to violate a contract or forego foreign exchange earnings that it cannot use.  The Kremlin seems destined to forego the opportunity to crush the sanctions and continue selling energy to Germany until Germany has had time to locate and construct the facilities for an alternative means of supply.

The West’s naked aggression and the Kremlin’s toleration of it guarantee a wider war ending in world destruction.  Can no one in leadership position see it coming?  Do Western politicians believe Russia will allow herself to be defeated by non-military means?  Does the Kremlin believe that resolving the Ukrainian situation will end the West’s attacks on Russia?  As always in human affairs, stupidity prevails.

That Washington and its despicable puppet states parade around like goody two shoes, shouting accusations at Russia when it is Washington and its puppets who are provoking war, and everyone falls for it tells me that Washington has the world on the road to nuclear armageddon.

PCR: Why the West Hates Putin

From Paul Craig Roberts at Paulcraigroberts.org:

Putin is a liberal in the old fashioned sense that no longer exists in the West. He believes in sustaining a network of laws and agreements that resolve disputes diplomatically instead of with violence. He believes that government should serve the people and not the economic interests of the elite.  He believes that religion is an important element of social unity and sustains moral behavior on which society depends.  He is constrained in implementing his beliefs by Washington and Russian leadership elements that are pro-Western.  This leaves Putin frustrated and angry.

Putin’s views contrast sharply with what passes for liberalism in the West today.  Western liberals teach race and gender hatred of white people and men.  Morality for Western liberals is championing “transgender rights,” such as the ability of men to declare themselves women and compete in female sports.  Western liberals  are active in reducing the informational content of language by erasing the use of gender pronouns.  Liberals regard religion as the cause of wars and superstition.  The sharp difference in views gives liberals many reasons to hate Putin.  But these are not the main reasons Putin is hated.

The West consists of different strata. Ordinary people incapable of thinking for themselves hate Putin because they watch CNN and Fox News, listen to NPR, and read the NY Times and have been brainwashed with the war propaganda narrative.  The patriotic conservatives among them hate Putin because their government does and waving the flag is how they show their patriotism. When they hear the American President calling the President of Russia a “war criminal,” a “murderous dictator” and “a pure thug,” they do the same.

Ordinary people have absorbed a narrative.  The hatred originates in those who constructed the narrative.  What the Western intellectual class hates about Putin is that he believes in national sovereignty.  In the West national sovereignty is associated with Nazi Germany.  The West’s politicians, with the exclusion of Trump and Marine LePen, are committed to open borders.  European countries have allowed, indeed encouraged, their borders to be overrun by immigrant-invaders who do not assimilate.  The same for the US and Canada.  Indeed, American liberals consider defense of US borders against immigrant-invaders to be civil rights violations and a crime against humanity.  Putin’s defense of Russian sovereignty is the reason Hillary Clinton branded him “the new Hitler.”

The Western governing and intellectual class is committed to globalism, including the extreme form represented by the World Economic Forum in which all but the rulers are slaves subject to being cut off from their allocated income by disapproval.  Globalism is the opposite of national sovereignty.  Putin is hated because sovereignty and globalism are inconsistent

The West understands this  Thus, the hatred dumped on Marine LePen and Trump.  But it is unclear that Putin understands this. He seems to think of globalism as a community of nations working together.  This view is unique to Putin and is most certainly not what globalism is.  Globalism is the sacrifice of sovereignty to the government–Washington–that runs the global system.

Putin is in the way of Washington’s hegemony and globalism.  Russia allied with China and most of Asia means Washington’s hegemonic and globalist agenda is impossible.  Washington intends to remove Russia as a constraint on Washington’s agenda.

Washington’s refusal to support the Minsk Agreement, Washington’s refusal to honor its pledge not to move NATO to Russia’s border, Washington’s refusal to acknowledge Russia’s security concern, Washington’s encouragement with psyops, sanctions, weapons and training of Ukraine’s army for war with Russia are mainstays of Washington’s attack on Russia, as was the recent attempted color revolution in Kazakhstan and the current NATO military exercises in Georgia.

Russia’s leadership has been extremely slow to comprehend, or to face up to, the fact that the West intends to destabilize Russia.  Russia’s leadership has even enabled Russia’s destabilization by permitting Washington-funded media and organizations inside Russia to agitate against the government.  Apparently, a gullible leadership believed it had to accept treason as evidence of its toleration of all views and commitment to democracy.

The only thing that Russia has done right is to create a functioning military, something that the West does not have.  Ukraine was an opportunity for Russia to intimidate the West and bring the provocations to a halt.  But Russia, ever with an eye on Western acceptance, missed the opportunity. Russia will succeed in rescuing the Donbass Russians, but she can expect more provocations. The hatred of Russians that the West’s presstitutes have created in Western populations guarantees that there will be no constraint on the Western governments by the people.

Rockwell: Braindead Biden "Regime" has Brought the World to the Brink of Disaster

From Lew Rockwell at Mises.org:

Few people today ask the most important question about the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Many people want America to stay out of the fight, but even they don’t ask the vital question. Why does the world face a crisis today? Why has a border dispute between Russia and Ukraine escalated to the point where people fear nuclear war?

The answer is simple. America, under the “leadership” of brain-dead Biden and the forces controlling him, has done this and, by doing so, brought the world to the brink of disaster. As always, the great Dr. Ron Paul gets it right: “Three weeks into this terrible war, the US is not pursuing talks with Russia. As Antiwar.com recently reported, instead of supporting negotiations between Ukraine and Russia that could lead to a ceasefire and an end to the bloodshed, the US government is actually escalating the situation which can only increase the bloodshed.

The constant flow of US and allied weapons into Ukraine and talk of supporting an extended insurgency does not seem designed to give Ukraine a victory on the battlefield but rather to hand Russia what Secretary of State Blinken called ‘a strategic defeat.’

It sounds an awful lot like the Biden Administration intends to fight Russia down to the last Ukrainian. The only solution for the US is to get out. Let the Russians and Ukrainians reach an agreement. That means no NATO for Ukraine and no US missiles on Russia’s borders? So what! End the war then end NATO.”

Let’s look at an analogy that will help us understand Dr. Paul’s point. For years, the Ukrainian government has attacked an area in the Donbas region that has seceded from Ukraine and formed an independent, pro-Russian, republic. Just before Putin moved against Ukraine, Ukraianians increased the scale and scope of their attack. Rick Rozoff describes what they did: “Two-thirds of Ukrainian army servicemen have been amassed along the Donbas contact line, Eduard Basurin, spokesman for the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) militia, said on Thursday.

“Another three brigades are on their way [to Donbas], which is 20,000 to 25,000 troops more. The total number will reach 150,000, not to mention the nationalists. This is about two-thirds of Ukrainian Armed Forces’ personnel,” Basurin said on the Rossiya 1 television channel (VGTRK) on Thursday.

Ukrainian troops are stationed along the 320-kilometer front line, he said.”

Unlike what has just happened, the Ukrainian attack did not result in US sanctions on Ukraine. There were no meetings of the UN to condemn Ukrainian aggression. There was no talk of world war. On the contrary, Ukraine government used American weapons in its attack and asked America for more weapons to continue their attack. Let’s listen to Rick Rozoff again: “The Armed Forces of Ukraine used the American anti-tank missile system Javelin in the hostilities in Donbas. This was announced by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov in an interview….

Budanov said that ideally, the U.S. would help deter any Russian incursion, through additional military aid and increased diplomatic and economic pressure, including more sanctions against Russia and the seizure and blocking of Russian banking accounts.

Also, in addition to U.S. aid already promised and delivered, including Mark VI patrol boats, Javelin anti-armor systems and AN/TPQ-53 light counter-fire radar systems, Ukraine seeks additional air, missile and drone defense systems and electronic jamming devices, Budonov said. Patriot missile batteries and counter rocket, artillery and mortar systems are on Ukraine’s wish list.

The AN/TPQ-53 systems were used to great effect, Ukraine military officials have previously reported. Budanov said the Javelin systems have also been used against Russian forces. Those, along with Turkish-manufactured drones, used against Russian-aligned separatist artillery troops, have a significant psychological deterrent value, said Budanov.”

Why the difference? We think that the US should not have shipped arms to Ukraine. Doing this made the situation worse. But for what we’re saying now, it doesn’t matter what you think of the policy. The key point is that because there was no international outcry and no sanctions, the matter remained a local fight. If brain dead Biden and his gang had reacted to the so-called Russian “invasion” in the same way, the matter would have remained a local quarrel. Russia and Ukraine would have made a deal and that would be that.

The neocon warmongers and other defenders of “democracy,” who unfortunately include some deluded “libertarians” object. Don’t we have a duty to resist “aggression?” The answer is clear: No, we don’t. We do not have a duty to evaluate every foreign quarrel and assess who is at fault. We do not have a duty to require leaders of regimes we, or rather our masters in Washington, don’t like to accept existing boundaries of countries as unchangeable. We should reject the false doctrine of “collective security,” which makes every border disputes a world war. The great American historian Charles Beard recognized what was wrong with “collective security” in the 1930s. In his article, “Giddy Minds and Foreign Quarrels,” he asked: “On what … should the foreign policy of the United States be based? Here is one answer and it is not excogitated in any professor’s study or supplied by political agitators. It is the doctrine formulated by George Washington, supplemented by James Monroe, and followed by the Government of the United States until near the end of the nineteenth century, when the frenzy for foreign adventurism burst upon the country. This doctrine is simple. Europe has a set of ‘primary interests’ which have little or no relation to us, and is constantly vexed by ‘ambition, rivalship, interest, humor, or caprice.’ The United States is a continental power separated from Europe by a wide ocean which, despite all changes in warfare, is still a powerful asset of defense. In the ordinary or regular vicissitudes of European politics the United States should not become implicated by any permanent ties. We should promote commerce, but force ‘nothing.’ We should steer dear of hates and loves. We should maintain correct and formal relations with all established governments without respect to their forms or their religions, whether Christian, Mohammedan, Shinto, or what have you.”

Beard then responded to those who wanted to scrap our traditional policy of non-intervention with “collective security”: “In the rest of the world, outside this hemisphere, our interests are remote and our power to enforce our will is relatively slight. Nothing we can do for Europeans will substantially increase our trade or add to our, or their, well-being. Nothing we can do for Asiatics will materially increase our trade or add to our, or their, well-being. With all countries in Europe and Asia, our relations should be formal and correct. As individuals we may indulge in hate and love, but the Government of the United States embarks on stormy seas when it begins to love one power and hate another officially.”

We should heed Beard’s wisdom today. Otherwise, the world may go up in flames.

Israeli PM Asked Zelensky to Surrender to Russia

From ZeroHedge:

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett surprised the international community last week when it was revealed that he had taken an clandestine trip to Moscow in order to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin in an apparent peacemaking effort. According to sources, Bennett had apprised Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelesky and French President Emmanuel Macron of his trip to Moscow before it had become public knowledge. After 3 hours of deliberations in the Kremlin, Bennett then traveled to Germany to meet with Chancellor Olaf Scholz to discuss the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war among other issues.

Bennett's coincided with on-going ceasefire talks between Russian and Ukrainian officials in the last couple of weeks. The confluence of those diplomatic engagements resulted in the first tangible offer from Russia to conclude the conflict when Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov declared that Putin offered to end the war if Ukraine if they fulfilled 4 conditions. According to Peskov, the terms offered by Putin were

  1. the end of any military action against Russia,
  2. recognition of Crimea as Russian territory,
  3. the acknowledgement of the sovereignty of the Luhansk and Donetsk people's republics, and
  4. amending Ukraine's constitution to solidify their standing as a neutral state serving as a buffer between Russia and NATO member states in eastern Europe.

Ukraine and the international community balked at Putin's supposed olive branch, citing the enormous secession of territory to Russia as being unfathomable. In the days of continued bloodshed since the initial peace terms were put on the table, Bennett has surprisingly departed from the sentiment echoed by that international response. According to the Times of Israel, the Jerusalem Post and Ukrainian sources, the Israeli Prime Minister spoke with Zelensky again on Tuesday and advised the Ukrainian President to agree to the terms offered by Putin. The Prime Minister’s Office denied the claim.

Sources breaking this news from Ukraine stated that Bennett initiated the phone call with Zelensky in which he pleaded for him, saying "If I were you, I would think about the lives of my people and take the offer."

Zelensky did not take well to the proposal, responding with a brief "I hear you."

[Doug here:  Those terms of surrender are terms exactly what Putin has been asking for all along.  This entire invasion was entirely unnecessary except for all the brain dead politicians and Nato idiots.  The West is beyond salvage!]

PCR: The Evil That "Occupies" Washington is Unprecedented

From Paul Craig Roberts "Ukraine Hosted Illegal US Biowarfare Laboratories"

The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed last Tuesday that Ukrainian authorities destroyed inventories of plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera and other deadly pathogens in (29 of them so far discovered by the Russians) illegal US biowarfare laboratories in Ukraine operated and funded by the US Department of Defense to prevent them from falling into Russian hands. US Undersecretary of State Victoria Nuland confirmed the reports. These laboratories are in violation of Article I of the UN Biological Weapons Convention. This violation makes the US government a clear cut War Criminal subject to the death sentence under the Nuremberg Laws established by the United States Government itself.

What was Washington going to do with these pathogens?  Which populations were going to be recipients of these gifts from Washington?  Russia?  Europeans and blamed on Russia?  Was there to be a new outbreak to be used to destroy whatever remains of civil liberty in the Western world? Now that the US government has united with the Ukrainian neo-nazis, how long before the swastika flies over the Western world?

The Chinese government is demanding to know from Washington why Washington was hiding its illegal war criminal behavior in Ukraine.  The Chinese Foreign Ministry demands that Washington “release relevant specific information, including what viruses are stored and the research that has been carried out.”

Dumbshit Americans do not understand that “their government,” actually the government of the greed and power driven elite governing group, is a criminal enterprise. Americans wrapped in the flag will go to their deaths in total ignorance.

Chinese government spokesperson Zhao Lijian said that the US Department of Defense controls 336 biological laboratories hidden in 30 countries and that the US biowarfare activities in Ukraine are only “the tip of the iceberg.”

So, what the Russian invasion of Ukraine has brought forth is hard evidence that Washington is in violation of the biowarfare convention which Washington signed and hides its illegal engagement in biological warfare research not only within the US but also in 30 other countries.

The evil that resides in Washington is unprecedented in human history.
