A bodega worker in NYC was arrested after fending off an attack in self-defense, bond initially set higher than for career criminals by Manhattan DA
62-year-old Jose Alba was arrested and charged with murder after fending off an attack by a 37-year-old ex-con in a clear case of self-defense. Soros-backed Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg and his woke, crooked prosecutors requested that he be held with bail set at $500,000 and succeeded in initially securing bail of $250,000 for Alba. This is despite the soft-on-crime policies of New York’s prosecutors towards career criminals and other violent offenders, whom they often let off with low or no bail at all.
After the 37-year-old ex-con, Austin Simon entered the bodega Alba works at with his girlfriend. After his girlfriend’s card was declined, trying to buy a bag of chips, she pulled a knife on Alba and began the attack, calling her boyfriend for backup. Simon stood over Alba, menacing him, before becoming physically violent. In an act of self-defense, Alba grabbed the store’s box-cutting knife and stabbed Simon twice, fatally wounding the aggressive ex-con.
After a public outcry over the unjust and exorbitant bail was initially set, and after even the progressive leftist NYC mayor Eric Adams spoke out against it, bail was changed to $50,000. Which is still higher than what the NYC prosecutors often argue for in cases of career criminals.
Alba was able to raise the fraction of bail necessary, thanks to family, friends, and h::s boss, and has since been released from Rikers with an ankle monitoring bracelet.

I watched this entire episode the other night on Tucker Carlson, and I recommend it to everyone to watch and listen to what Tucker has to say about this horrible, horrible disgusting situation. Where this man should have been congratulated and patted on the back, that didn’t happen because this happened inside a hell hole where everything in life has been turned upside down because of these asinine insane!!!! District attorneys! All across America underneath these district attorneys works all the assistant district attorney’s. And it’s Tucker has exposed over the last two weeks on his show from Los Angeles to Boston, assistant district attorneys have quit one after the other because they refuse to work for these asshole senior, District Attorney’s.

They came here they kept their nose clean and they worked hard. We all know if this would’ve happened in a red state the situation would be entirely different. About 6 months ago a sheriff was hired in Santa Rosa County Florida that is a no nonsense Sheriff.
And he tells the people that live in his county to not only armed themselves and protect themselves he tells his residence to shoot to kill anyone that a text them because you’re saving the other taxpayers money. I shit you not. Since this is coming out over 30 other sheriffs are now doing the same thing but they’re not only in red states two of them are out in California that have had it with health life has been turned upside down. And, here is another one just about 2 months ago. Needless to say when he runs for office he wins by a major landslide. As a matter of fact from the research I’ve done, even though Santa Rosa County is not only a small rural farming ‘ hunting county that is also predominantly white race, thank God, it’s also a small county population wise, compared to other counties in Florida.
